PRODUCT & EVENT DESIGN  2022

Project Background
Against the backdrop of rapidly developing inclusive education worldwide, children with physical disabilities still face significant challenges in home-based learning and development. Due to mobility limitations and parents’ time constraints, these children often remain in confined spaces with insufficient sensory stimulation and social interaction. This not only impacts their cognitive and emotional development but also increases their risk of social isolation. Existing educational toys generally lack adaptive designs for children with special needs, failing to meet their requirements for multisensory engagement and personalized interaction.

项目背景: 尽管全纳教育已成为全球趋势,但行动受限的残疾儿童在居家学习场景中仍面临严重服务缺失。由于空间限制与父母时间有限,这些儿童在关键成长阶段普遍存在感官刺激不足与社会隔离的风险,而传统益智玩具难以满足其适应性交互与多感官刺激的特殊需求。




Stage 1: SENSE BOX TOY -  Learn by  Multiplay

SENSE BOX TOY is an innovative multisensory interactive toy specially designed for children with physical disabilities. Through modular and adaptive interactive mechanisms, it integrates visual, auditory, tactile, and other multimodal feedback to overcome the limitations of traditional toys in terms of inclusivity and accessibility. The product enables children to engage in self-directed exploration and gamified learning within limited spaces, effectively addressing the lack of sensory experience caused by restricted mobility and promoting early cognitive development and emotional regulation skills.

SENSE BOX TOY是一款专为肢体残疾儿童设计的创新型多感官交互玩具,通过模块化设计与自适应技术,为行动不便的儿童提供触觉、视觉、听觉等多模态反馈,该产品支持儿童在有限空间内进行自主探索与游戏化学习,有效弥补其因活动范围受限而导致的感官经验缺失,促进早期认知发展与情绪调节能力。





Stage  2:  DREAM CITY -  Build Your  Dream Job

Building on sensory awakening, DREAM CITY further focuses on social reintegration and career inspiration. This system uses role-playing and situational construction games to help children experience different professional roles in a simulated social environment, rebuilding their connection with the outside world. Through hands-on activities and collaborative tasks, children gradually enhance their communication skills, emotional management, and teamwork awareness, thereby alleviating learning motivation decline and emotional disorders caused by social isolation.

在感官唤醒基础上,DREAM CITY 进一步聚焦于社会性重建与职业启蒙。该系统通过角色扮演和情境建构的游戏,帮助儿童在模拟社会环境中体验不同职业角色,重建与外部世界的联结。孩子可通过动手操作与协作任务,逐步提升沟通能力、情绪管理与团队合作意识,从而缓解因社交隔离导致的学习动机下降与情绪障碍问题。
